About me

Hello, I first started working with bereaved families over 20 years ago, through my work as a funeral director and I often wondered how people I had met were coping with their grief, especially after the busyness of the funeral had calmed down and other people had gone back to their lives leaving the bereaved person suddenly sitting with their feelings and maybe feeling alone.

I always had the intention to start a bereavement and friendship group, but when I looked into the logistics I realised that I would need to train as counsellor, and now five years later I have qualified.

I specialise in grief and loss therapy, having trained as an integrative counsellor I can now draw on a range of modalities to help in the here and now, and support going forward, and I can honestly say I throughly enjoy my work.

I offer single session therapy or longer term therapy which I would recommend start as a six week block, same time and day each week. Sessions last for 60 minutes, and I have an office in my garden, there is parking on my driveway and I have toilet facilities.
