Andy Clements
About me
Hi, my name is Andy. I am a qualified counsellor, offering 1 to 1 sessions from my therapy room in Oxenhope, near Keighley, as well as online (Zoom) and telephone sessions.
I work using mainly a person centred approach, that enables you to experience the therapeutic process in your own way, and at your own pace.
I have training in mindfulness and DBT Skills (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) which I may utilise during your sessions.
By creating a safe, warm, and non-judgemental environment, I aim to provide you with somewhere where you can explore any issues that you want to share. By talking about life events, your emotions, thoughts and feelings, you can start to make sense of the issues that you bring to counselling.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, struggles at work, or any other issues, accessing counselling can support you on your personal journey.
I understand that choosing a counsellor can be a difficult task, and you may have questions that you want to ask. If this is the case, please feel free to contact me with any queries that you have, or to discuss your options.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
