About me
Welcome to my profile!
I am an integrative therapist, offering coaching, counselling and psychotherapy to adult clients via video and telephone. I work with individual clients and couples, and welcome clients from all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
I aim to provide a professional and comfortable environment where you will feel welcome, where you can talk about your thoughts and feelings in confidence, achieve deeper insight into yourself, your problems and your life, and where you can identify and work towards making positive changes that will enhance your overall sense of wellbeing.
As an integrative therapist I use a combination of different types of therapy, tailored to suit the unique needs and preferences of each individual client. Rather than focusing solely on mental or emotional health I adopt a holistic approach, recognizing that the psychological, physical, spiritual, social and environmental aspects of life are interconnected, and that problems in one area of life can affect all the others.
I offer a 30-minute initial consultation - with no obligation and completely free of charge - which gives us the opportunity to meet each other and decide if we can work together. I won’t ask you to book any appointments at the initial consultation. Instead I will aim to provide you with all the information you need to take away and think about before coming to a decision. If you decide you would like to work with me, you can then contact me by telephone or e-mail to book your first session.
Please feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail to discuss your requirements or if you have any questions.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold an MSc degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and Relate's Certificate in Relational Counselling. I am a Registered and Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), an Accredited member of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists, and a member of the International Coaching Federation. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor.
I have previously worked as a therapist with several well-known organizations, including Mind, Relate, the Dove Service and two NHS Trusts. I have also worked as the Counselling Service Manager for the NHS’ IAPT (Talking Therapies) service in Oxfordshire, as Clinical Director at Care first, a leading Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provider, and as the Mental Health Service Delivery Manager at IPRS Health Ltd. I am currently a serving member of the BACP's Workplace Executive.
Before training as a therapist, I worked in management roles for over 25 years, gaining extensive experience in business management, finance, team leadership, coaching, mentoring, and designing and delivering training programmes. I have lived and worked in the UK, Asia and Australia, and am comfortable working with people from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
