Drew Miller MBACP Accred, MCOSRT Accred, EMDR Qualified
I have been a practising therapist for 15 years. I offer short and long term work depending on a your hopes and focus for the work. In general I have successfully helped most clients within 12 sessions. This also applies for couples and psychosexual work.
I work from a humanistic integrative training background which includes CBT. Please check my website www.drewmillercounselling.co.uk for more information. I take in an depth 90 minute assessment for the same cost as a normal 50 minute session as this gives plenty of time for me to understand what you are hoping for and for you to ask me questions. I will be led by you and your hopes, fears, aspirations. We will explore difficulties you have now and how to manage and cope with these. Also how you can achieve fulfilment and self empowerment for your future. I try to be open and honest and this may offer challenges at times.... I believe therapy is a co-creation and we all have to work hard!
As a mature person and having had a rich and varied life experience, I believe that there are times in our lives when things feel overwhelming. However, I passionately believe that these difficult periods offer us a great opportunity to embrace our true selves and the possible changes we can make. The reward is transition to a better and more confident being in the world for ourselves and those we love.
