About me
Hello and welcome to my profile.
I am a qualified BACP Accredited Counsellor working in an integrative way which means that I can work in a range of ways in response to your individual needs. My priority is to create a safe environment in which you can talk openly to me and in return, you get the best counselling I can offer you. At our first meeting we would discuss what issues you have and what you want to get from therapy. I would then be able to tell you how I can best help you.
I have drawn my experience from working as a Counsellor for companies, for example occupational health, EAP's, Insurance Companies and Private Practice over the last eighteen years. I have had a wide range of training including couples counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person Centred Counselling, the Gestalt approach, Stress Management, abuse and safeguarding - this is by no means an exhaustive list. I have vast experience of working with work-based stress, depression, anxiety and panic, anger, relationships, domestic and sexual abuse. I have also worked with trauma.
As well as face-to-face sessions I offer Online counselling . I am happy for you to give me a call (without obligation) to chat about working with me.
In addition, I am a qualified clinical supervisor and am happy to hear from you if this is the service you are seeking.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
