About me
Hello and welcome to my profile.
I am a qualified BACP Accredited Counsellor working in an integrative way which means that I can work in a range of ways in response to your individual needs. My priority is to create a safe environment in which you can talk to me and in return, you get the best counselling I can give you. At our first meeting we would discuss what issues you have and what you want to get from therapy. I would then be able to tell you how I can best help you.
I have drawn my experience from working as a counsellor for companies, in occupational health and private practice over the last fifteen years. I have had a wide range of training including couples counselling, cognitive behaviour therapy, person centred counselling, the gestalt approach, stress management, abuse and safeguarding - this is by no means an exhaustive list. I have vast experience of working with work-based stress, depression, anxiety and panic, anger, relationships, domestic and sexual abuse. I have also worked with trauma.
As well as face-to-face sessions I offer Facetime and Skype counselling. I am happy for you to give me a call (without obligation) to chat about working with me.
In addition, I am a qualified clinical supervisor and am happy to hear from you if this is the service you are seeking.
