About me
Maybe you’re someone who thinks deeply, feels a lot, has a busy mind or has spent years trying to fit yourself into a life that doesn’t quite fit you. Perhaps you’re feeling burnt out, disconnected from yourself, navigating neurodivergence or a period of change, or you simply know that something needs to shift but aren’t quite sure what.
I’m a person-centred counsellor offering online and in-person counselling. My approach is warm, curious and collaborative. You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about or what you need, we can start wherever you are and explore things together at your pace.
I have specialist training in ADHD and autism and experience working with neurodivergent clients, as well as younger people within a college setting. I’m particularly interested in burnout, including burnout within the creative industries, and supporting women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
I can also bring creativity into our sessions where it feels helpful, particularly when something feels difficult to put into words. You don’t need to consider yourself creative, it’s simply another way we can explore and understand your experience.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. My training is grounded in the person-centred approach, with additional specialist training in working therapeutically with ADHD and autism (completed training with Aspire Autism Consultancy).
Alongside my work with adults, I have also worked as a counsellor within a college setting, supporting young people with a range of emotional and personal difficulties.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I know that finding the right counsellor can feel like a big decision, and it’s important that you feel comfortable with the person you choose. I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, giving us a chance to meet, talk briefly about what’s bringing you to counselling and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
Sessions can be online or in person, and there’s no minimum number of sessions you need to commit to. We can work together for as long as counselling feels useful to you.
If you’re curious about counselling but aren’t quite sure where to begin, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
