About me
I can help you heal from the past, build better relationships in the present, and feel confident about your future.
Throughout our lives we can experience difficulties that leave us feeling anxious, disconnected or even shame about what's bothering us. Therapy with me is a place to be heard without judgement where you can be helped to explore what is troubling you.
I offer Integrative Counselling, which simply means using lots of different techniques tailored to you, to help you find the best way to navigate your concerns. I believe my clients have the power to change from within, and by using this unique counselling experience together, I can help you discover understanding and peace from your past or existing concerns.
I work creatively and somatically, meaning that sometimes we might try something different to talking for you to feel relief. We might listen to music, draw, work with fabric, meditate, or practice a response to a difficult conversation. Our somatic work together might involve observing the breath or what is happening in the body when thinking about something difficult. My clients have said things like "I never realised how disconnected my head and body were, now I understand what's going on and I feel so much calmer".
Our work together will always be guided by you and what you need. You know yourself best, even if at the moment you might be feeling disconnected or lost.
I work therapeutically with adults and young people aged 13 years and above. I support people with a wide range of issues, including Anxiety and Depression, Childhood Trauma or Abuse, Relationship Issues, Domestic Abuse, Climate anxiety and Highly Sensitive People.
I am neurodiversity and LGBTQAI+ affirming.
I work from lovely rooms both in Olney and Aspley Guise which have ample free parking and can also work online with people from all over the country.
I also believe in giving back to my community and the environment. I support a local forest project to plant trees and improve habitats offsetting 100% of the carbon from my face to face appointments. A proportion of every client session also enables me to volunteer for a local young persons charity to help the next generation heal from their difficult experiences.
Making the initial contact might feel like a big step, but I hope to put you at ease as quickly as possible. I look forward to our introduction call.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
