About me
I'm an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist, working in the NHS at the Maudsley hospital and I also offer individual psychodynamic therapy in my private practice in Primrose Hill, North London. I specialise in adult psychotherapy for issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, low self esteem, PTSD and loneliness.
I generally offer open ended long term therapeutic work, designed to facilitate deep - seated characterological changes.
I'm fully qualified and insured, offering psychodynamic psychotherapy which is an open exploration of your thoughts and feelings, which leads into an uncovering of the unconscious factors that lie behind your difficulties.
How can I help you?
I can help you to understand and make sense of your emotions, particularly those that are outside of your awareness. Sometimes it can be hard to know what is wrong. You know you are feeling low, or anxious, depressed or are experiencing low self esteem but you're not sure why.
My training in psychodynamic therapy will help you and me to think together and explore what is going on behind these issues. We will come together to think about you, your present, past, thoughts and feelings and try to make sense of what is going on for you.
What is the aim of our therapy work you might ask?
To work together, so that in time, you can experience yourself, your life and the relationships around you more authentically and more fully.
Next steps?
I invite you to send me an email. I will get back to you to arrange a suitable time for a free phone call where we can understand more about your current situation. If you would like to continue and provided I can help, we will then arrange a time and date for an initial consultation to meet in person.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
