Therapy is offered face-to-face at my practice in Thatcham or on a secure online platform.

At my quiet practice in Thatcham I offer confidential, client- focused psychotherapy and counselling (in English, German, Dutch and Afrikaans)

I am registered as a Psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and Certified by the European Association for Psychotherapy.

I also work as an international leadership consultant and as visiting professor at British and European Business Schools.

I specialise in trauma work, addictive behaviour, burn-out (especially management burn-out), depression, anxiety, bereavement and life transitions.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have undergraduate qualifications in Psychology, doctoral degrees in literature, philosophy and education as well as a Clinical Diploma and Master of Science degree in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute in London. I also have an University Advanced Diploma in Cognitive behavioural studies and skills as well as the London Diploma In psychosexual and couples counselling.

As a psychotherapist, I work in an integrative manner, drawing on theories, models and ways of being that support my clients' growth and change processes. I have also spent many years as an executive in large corporations and am an experienced executive coach with a deep understanding of the complex issues facing modern executives.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
