About me

About Me

Hi, I am Aga, originally from Poland, calling London home for over 25 years. As a person, I am naturally curious; I love travelling and exploring new countries their cultures, traditions and food. I bring that curiosity into the therapy room when I am listening to people and their stories. I am warm, compassionate, and authentic in the way I work. I don't see clients as problems to be fixed. I see them as human beings doing their best to navigate life's challenges, often carrying experiences, emotions, traumas and beliefs that deserve to be understood rather than judged.

I am passionate about helping people reconnect with who they are. I am less interested in labels and more interested in who you are beneath the expectations, roles, and experiences that may have shaped you. I spent years living according to expectations, roles, responsibilities, or experiences and I lost sight of myself along the way. Being myself in therapy helped me find a sense of my real self. Due to that experience, I am particularly drawn to working with identity, self-worth, trauma, bereavement, relationship issues, and the questions that arise when life no longer feels aligned with who we truly are.

I believe that the relationship between a client and therapist is at the heart of therapy. Without a genuine, trusting relationship, there is no therapy. Before any techniques, insights, or interventions, there needs to be a connection where you feel safe enough to be yourself, speak openly, and know that you will be met without judgment.

My aim is to create a space where you can bring all parts of yourself—the parts you are proud of, the parts you struggle with, and the parts you may still be discovering. The therapy room is a space where I invite honesty, curiosity, and self-compassion. Together, we can explore what is holding you back, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and help you move towards a life that feels more meaningful.

I am someone who believes that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and accepted for who they truly are. My passion lies in helping people reconnect with themselves, especially during times when life feels overwhelming, confusing, or painful.

For me, therapy is not about having all the answers. It is about creating a relationship where you feel seen, heard, understood, and supported as you discover yourself and your own solutions.

Training, qualifications & experience

Training & Experience

I completed my professional counselling training with The Awareness Centre, where I supported people from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. This helped me develop a way of working that is grounded, flexible, and responsive to each person I meet.

Alongside my private practice, I continue to work with Cruse Bereavement Support, offering specialist grief counselling. Being part of a dedicated bereavement service keeps my understanding of loss current, real, and closely connected to what people truly go through.

Qualifications:
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling • Level 3 Counselling Skills • Foundation in Therapy • Trauma-Informed Practice

Specialist training:
Pregnancy & Infant Loss • Rainbow Baby • Infertility

What this means for you
Qualifications are important — but what matters most is how you feel in the room. Do you feel heard? Understood? Accepted as you are?

My aim is to create a space where you can slow down, feel safe enough to open up, and begin to make sense of what’s going on for you — at your own pace.

Next step
If you’re wondering whether counselling could help, you’re very welcome to get in touch. You can call or text me at 07912076709. I’ll respond within 24 hours.

We can arrange a short initial conversation to see if we feel like the right fit, with no pressure or obligation.

You don’t have to figure everything out alone.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
