About me
I have worked in diverse adult NHS primary care settings, delivering evidence-based interventions to individuals and groups. I aim to tailor therapy to meet the needs of each person, working collaboratively to understand their challenges from their own perspectives.
I have completed training in CBT for long-term health conditions, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and I am a trained supervisor for both low and high-intensity CBT practitioners. I am committed to providing high-quality care infused with compassion to support you in overcoming your difficulties, and reach your goals at your pace.
As a therapist, my approach is naturally influenced by my passions, both personally and professionally. I have worked with universities in tutoring and mentoring the next generation of therapists, and strongly value passing down knowledge to those completing their training. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of people's development, and apply this to my therapeutic work too.
I also have a keen interest in exercise and lifestyle; having undertaken a Sport Psychology Masters, I have developed a knowledge base on the impact of wellbeing on performance, which can apply to many other areas of life. A big pillar to our health is made up of several lifestyle factors (e.g. exercise, diet and sleep), and incorporating this into the work I do has been incredibly beneficial to enhancing clients' wellbeing.
I can offer a free 15 minute initial consultation, whereby we can discuss what areas you would like support with and determine whether we are the right fit. If you would like to book a consultation, please feel free to contact me with your availability via email.
