About me

Hi I’m Adam,

I support adults and young adults who are dealing with overthinking, burnout, or low confidence—helping them feel clearer, calmer, and more in control.

You might look like you’re coping—but inside, your mind won’t switch off.

Overthinking everything.

Second-guessing yourself.

Feeling overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, and under constant pressure.

You may be used to pushing through, holding things together, and not saying much about how it’s really feeling.

But it’s getting harder to keep going like this.

I offer a calm, supportive space where you can step out of the noise, make sense of what’s going on, and begin to feel more like yourself again.

HOW I CAN HELP

I work with adults and young adults who are:

Struggling with overthinking or anxiety that won’t switch off

Experiencing low self-esteem or lack of confidence

Feeling burnt out, mentally exhausted, or overwhelmed by stress

Dealing with ongoing pressure at work or in daily life

Many people I support come to counselling feeling stuck in overthinking, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves.

Together, we focus on helping you:

Quieten overthinking and reduce anxiety

Regain clarity and direction

Rebuild confidence and self-trust

Manage stress and pressure more effectively

Feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions

This is about finding what actually works for you—not being analysed or told what to do.

MY APPROACH

My work combines:

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

A forward-focused approach that helps you build on what’s already working and create practical, realistic change.

Person-Centred Counselling

A space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted—without judgement or pressure.

I also offer Walk & Talk therapy, which can feel more relaxed and natural if sitting face-to-face doesn’t suit you.

We’ll work at your pace, in a way that feels comfortable.

WORKING WITH MEN

I often work with men under pressure, supporting those who feel the weight of responsibility—whether that’s work, family, or expectations they place on themselves.

There can be pressure to keep things together, not show struggle, or just “get on with it.”

Counselling offers a safe space where you don’t have to do that. Where you can let it go and talk about the pressures your under. Together we can get you to a clearer place in life that will make you feel like you again, feel that your in control and not feel like everything is spiralling out of your control.

WORKING WITH YOUNG ADULTS

I often work with young adults who are feeling the pressure of figuring life out—whether that’s exams, career choices, friendships, or the expectations they carry from others and themselves.

It can feel like everything matters at once.

Deadlines building up.

Comparing yourself to others.

Trying to fit in while also working out who you are.

There’s often a pressure to keep going, not fall behind, or not let anyone see you’re struggling.

Counselling offers a safe space where you don’t have to hold all of that on your own. A space where you can slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and talk openly without judgement.

Together, we can work towards helping you feel clearer, more grounded, and more in control—so you can move forward in a way that feels right for you.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Starting counselling can feel like a big step—but it doesn’t have to feel overwhelming.

We can begin with a simple conversation to see if it feels like a good fit.

From there, we’ll take things at a pace that works for you.
