About me

I am an empathetic, compassionate therapist eager to help you flourish - whether by overcoming anxiety, coping with depression, recovering from trauma, living with grief, building self-esteem, moving through life transitions, or improving relationships. You come to therapy with your own story, values, experiences, relationships, and personality. I will honour that by offering an environment of acceptance, respect, non-judgement, and curiosity. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my goal is to help you see yourself and your relationships more clearly so that you can author your own life story with confidence.

I take an evidence-based, practical approach to therapy, using a variety of tools to help you experience and practice in session how you want to live in the real world. This involves exploring what your mind, body and emotions are telling you, and how your earliest relationships affect the way you relate to the world in the present. This will enable you to better regulate your emotions, establish healthy relationships and make meaning of your life.

I believe we all need to be seen and accepted as we truly are in order to become the people we want to be: making choices based not on shame or fear but on our values and principles.

It would be an honour to work with you.
