About me

I have been a practising counsellor and psychotherapist for 22 years. I am UKCP registered as a Transactional Analysis psychotherapist and as an Integrative psychotherapist. I have studied Transpersonal psychology/psychotherapy and where appropriate incorporate this into my work. I am also a senior MBACP Accred counsellor and psychotherapist.

I also offer spiritual counselling to those who are wishing to discover their spiritual beliefs, deepen their spirituality, struggling along their spiritual journey or wish to look at their difficulties from a spiritual perspective.

I offer short and long term therapy.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I charge £65 for a 50 minute session but offer concessionery rates (e.g. training therapists)

I offer a free 30 minute initial session where there is the opportunity for the prospective client to meet me and ask any questions they may need answering before making a decision.
