About me
I believe change is possible. Through working with you as the client to explore both your current issue and what lies beneath, I can help to bring both what is actually happening, and the cause into the room. It is here that transformation can take place.
I'm interested in your mind, body, soul, and shadow; in your complexity and core.
I want to hear how your life is, what isn't working, and together we can make a plan for what next. Do you want things to be this way? I guess not otherwise you wouldn't be reading this. Do you believe things can change? You're hoping so, otherwise what's the point. In the counselling room we can explore the depths and reach for the hights; what is possible?
How I work:
I work from an integrative and integral perspective; which means i have a broad range of tools at my disposal. All that you bring is welcome, and i will meet you in the place where you need to be met. It maybe we look at your thoughts, feelings, or behaviour but most likely a combination of all, and all with in the context of your physical self, your relationships, and the environment you live in.
The space i provide is primarily a warm welcoming space where you will not be judged, where you will be supported to make the changes you wish to make, and where what you say remains confidential in line with the BACP code of ethics. And where we can practice the art of relating between individuals in a honest and authentic way.
What I can help with:
Anxiety / anger / depression / trauma / addictions / relationship problems / midlife crisis / separation - in no particular order.
In reality i hate writing these list - i can support you in the way you are feeling and struggling - you don't need to fit into any labels, and labels can help too. You are you, and I am me, together we'll make something happen.
Reading this is the first step to making the changes you wish to make. Well done for getting this far. I look forward to meeting you, and setting out on this journey together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
