About me

As a sex and relationship therapist my aim is to provide a safe environment in which clients can share their intimate thoughts and problems with no fear of judgement. I honour all sexual orientations and gender identities. I am a COSRT Senior Accredited Sex and Relationship Psychotherapist, UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and Fellow of the National Council of Psychotherapists. I am a COSRT Accredited Supervisor. I am Director of the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS) www.theinstituteofsexology.org where I teach a two year post graduate diploma course in clinical sexology. I won the COSRT post graduate of the year award for my psychosexual work in 2012.

I work with individuals, couples and multiple partnered people with sex and relationship issues either online, via Zoom, live chat or email, or in my consulting room in Letchworth Garden City.

Relationship therapy can help in those times when your relationship hits difficulties. Perhaps there has been an affair, sex may have stopped or has become difficult, or work and children have taken priority over the relationship. Usually, loss of connection is at the heart of the problem and with the help of a professional who can work with you both equally and neutrally you can often get back on track.

The specific issues that I can help with include sexual compulsions, specific sexual interests (kinks and fetishes), loss of desire, orgasmic difficulties, vaginismus, erectile and ejaculation difficulties, pain on intercourse, sex, gender, erotic and relationship identity concerns and infertility. I also work with people needing a space to reflect on their sexual orientation or gender identity, including non-binary people.

My background is in senior operations and human resources roles in industry, so I really understand the challenges of balancing work and family life.

My clinic rooms are in Letchworth Garden City with easy access to public transport, free parking and wheel chair access.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
