About me
As a sex and relationship therapist my aim is to provide a safe environment in which clients can share their intimate thoughts and problems with no fear of judgement. I honour all sexual orientations and practices, acknowledging that difference does not equal deviance. I am a COSRT Senior Accredited Sex and Relationship Psychotherapist, UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and Fellow of the National Council of Psychotherapists. I am a COSRT Accredited Supervisor. I am Director of the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS) www.theinstituteofsexology.org where I teach a two year post graduate diploma course in clinical sexology. I won the COSRT post graduate of the year award for my psychosexual work in 2012.
I work with couples, individuals and people in poly structured relationships with sex and relationship issues.
Relationship therapy can help in those times when your relationship hits difficulties. Perhaps there has been an affair, sex may have stopped or has become difficult, or work and children have taken priority over the relationship. Usually, loss of connection is at the heart of the problem and with the help of a professional who can work with you both equally and neutrally you can often get back on track.
The specific issues that I can help with include sexual compulsions, specific sexual interests (kinks and fetishes), loss of desire, orgasmic difficulties, vaginismus, erectile and ejaculation difficulties, pain on intercourse, sex, gender, erotic and relationship identity concerns and infertility.
My background is in senior operations and human resources roles in industry, so I really understand the challenges of balancing work and family life.
My clinic room is located in Letchworth Garden City, with easy access to public transport, free parking and wheel chair access.
