Profile
I am a Psychosexual Therapist and Relationship Counsellor/Therapist working with adult couples or individuals of any sexual orientation.
I work Integratively with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic and Systemic theories.
Work is either on a short or long term basis dependent on the clients goals. Immediate life circumstances may be explored or 'deeper' issues addressed as required.
Psychosexual treatment plans are tailored to the clients needs and work is highly educative, allaying fears and anxieties around performance, unrealistic expectations and misguided attitudes. Any sexual tasks are carried out in the client's home, never in the consulting room
Training, Qualifications & Experience
I have nine years of professional training and development and six years of clinical (client) work.
I have worked in the Leicester Counselling Centre on Victoria Park and at Relate Leicestershire. I am now in private practice working from both a medical centre and a counselling centre in Leicester, offering daytime and evening appointments.
I am currently working towards Accredited status with the BACP and BASRT.
Qualifications include:
Psychosexual Therapy post grad diploma
Relate Counsellor Graduate Certificate
Certificate in Counselling Studies - Leics University
Chartered Institute of Marketing post grad diploma
Bsc (Hons) Psychology

£50 payable by cash or cheque at the end of each session
I'm afraid no concessions are available for those in receipt of benefits at this time
Further Information
Areas of Psychosexual expertise include work with Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse, Mental Health Issues, Asperger's, and Sexual Addiction.
I work affirmatively with LGBT clients and their sexual issues and will appear on the Pink Therapy Directory shortly
