Supervision details
As a trainee in older adult services, I developed a strong interest in neuropsychology, which guided my subsequent work in older adult and young-onset dementia services. During this time, I developed expertise in both mental health and cognitive conditions. Later, I moved into a senior clinical role within an acute neuropsychology service, where I broadened my experience to include the treatment of adults with a range of neurological conditions. This included conducting complex neuropsychological assessments and addressing mental health issues that arise alongside neurological diagnoses. I have completed a Pg. Dip in Clinical Neuropsychology, further develop my knowledge in this field.
I am available to provide online supervision for Clinical Psychologists working with adults or older adults presenting with cognitive impairments or neurological conditions. I offer supervision for both mental health cases, focusing on adjustment to conditions or co-occurring mental health challenges, as well as supervision on neuropsychological assessments.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
