Supervision details

I am an experienced, qualified psychodynamic supervisor, offering supervision to trainee counsellors, newly qualified practitioners, and experienced psychotherapists. I offer a supportive, reflective space to deepen your clinical work.

With a background in teaching and training psychodynamic counsellors I provide a thoughtful, collaborative approach to supervision, helping you develop confidence, navigate challenges, and to grow in your capacity as a therapist.
I qualified as a supervisor with the SAP in 2010 and have supervised in many settings- hospice, schools, training foundations and private practice

My theoretical approach is grounded in post-Kleinian object relations, enriched by a psychodynamic curiosity for the symbolic and unconscious but I believe the heart of therapy lies in the relationship between client and therapist — and in supervision, we explore that relationship with depth, openness, and care. My aim is to create a safe, collaborative space where you can reflect on your work

Supervision is available in-person  or online on a fortnightly or weekly basis from my consulting room in Kings Langley

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
