Supervision details
Effective clinical supervision is an essential part of counselling and psychotherapy. As an experienced psychotherapist, I offer a space for supervisees to enhance their practice by working in a warm, reflective, collaborative way, with an appropriate level of challenge.
For me, our relationship is central and my person-centred and experiential way of being intertwines with the frame being held by the 7-eyed supervision model. I have experience of working with both trainees and those who are qualified.
One aim is for us to explore the whole landscape you are working in, both as an overview of the wider world and that which is up close and in detail.
We would work collaboratively to
Consider complex cases: Using a number of different lenses be that trauma, relationship dynamics, and ethical dilemmas in a safe, supportive space.
Hold a theoretical framework: Integrate theory with practical application to inform your work.
Refine your therapeutic skills: Explore your therapeutic relationships and enhance your ability to hold a strong therapeutic presence.
Where I come from
A trauma-informed approach: Understanding the impact of trauma on clients and therapists.
Emphasis on relational dynamics: Exploring how relationships impact both clients and the therapeutic process, using the 7-eyed supervision model as a basis for our work.
Strong theoretical foundation: I hold knowledge of a range of theoretical perspectives to enrich your practice, offered through my PC way of being.
What I bring
Experience both from the therapy (Charity, NHS & Private Practice), corporate and teaching worlds, broadening my horizons when considering the landscape you operate in.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
