Supervision details
I offer counselling supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors. I enjoy supervising and working with counsellors who work within person centred and an integrative framework too, including CBT and Psychodynamic. I see Supervision as valuable and important relationship for therapists, and building a good, solid, safe and respectful relationship is essential for me. To offer a collaborative, supportive and challenging, warm and nurturing space for therapists to process their work and self is my aim. I am additionally qualified as a counselling lecturer and tutor, so I can offer experience and support around training, placements, worries and concerns, and support on where to go when qualified. I have experience in group dynamics, and delivered degree level classes and levels 1-3 counselling skills. I have undertaken various CPD and training over the years including bereavement support, self harm, childhood messages and trauma, and understanding mental health. I consider myself open-minded, with a spiritual interest. My supervision qualification is the certificate in Supervision from the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy, and I trained with Bob Cooke, gaining valuable insight into the Supervision process. I charge £50 per 90 minute session. £40 for students.
