Supervision details

Information about my supervision
I am a qualified clinical supervisor, holding an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision (Level 6), and an accredited member of BACP and NCPS. I offer supervision in English and Hungarian, both online and in person. My private practice includes working with children and young people, adults and couples.

My approach is integrative, drawing primarily on the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, which encourages reflection on different aspects of therapeutic work, including the client, the therapeutic relationship, the counsellor's responses and the wider professional context.

I aim to offer a collaborative, supportive and appropriately challenging supervisory relationship where you can reflect openly on your work, explore uncertainties, consider ethical dilemmas and develop confidence in your clinical judgement. I value the knowledge and experience you already bring to your work, and see supervision as a space where we can make connections between theory and what actually happens in the therapy room. Together, we can reflect on how theoretical understanding informs practice, while allowing clinical experience to question, deepen and develop that understanding.

My therapeutic background primarily incorporates person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT approaches. I welcome supervisees working from different theoretical orientations and at different stages of their professional development, and aim to support you in developing a way of working that is theoretically informed while remaining authentically your own.

NCPS
National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
