Supervision details
I am an experienced integrative psychotherapist with an Advanced Diploma in Supervision, offering individual and group supervision to trainees, therapists, and practitioners in organisations or private practice. I provide a reflective and supportive space where supervisees can safely explore client work, challenges in practice, and their professional development.
My clinical experience encompasses trauma, relationship difficulties, loss, addictions, personality disorders, anxiety and depression, neurodivergence, couples therapy, EMDR, and work with members of the LGBTQ+ community. I welcome supervisees from diverse therapeutic backgrounds who are working with a broad range of client presentations and clinical issues.
My approach is collaborative and relational, informed primarily by the Functions Model (Inskipp & Proctor), the Seven-Eyed Model (Hawkins & Shohet), and the CLEAR Model (Hawkins & Smith). Supervision integrates reflection, support, and accountability, with space to consider ethical decision-making, practitioner wellbeing, and the wider context of practice. I value open dialogue and encourage mutual feedback so that supervision remains meaningful and responsive.
Sessions usually take place monthly for 90 minutes, either online or face-to-face, beginning with a brief check-in and caseload overview, followed by focused reflection on client material or themes the supervisee wishes to explore. Fees are £90 for 90 minutes and £60 for 60 minutes. A limited number of reduced-fee places are available.
My aim is to offer a safe, containing, and reflective supervisory space that supports both the practitioner and their clients.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
