Supervision details
I achieved an aggregate of 85% in my theoretical component and case study. I work in a holistic way with supervisees, both experienced and trainees. I offer both individual and group supervision, as well as academic supervision, which can be particularly beneficial for trainees. I aim to support your work with clients, professional development and grow your capacity for self reflective processes and awareness of your self and clients. I draw on various theories; in particular the seven- eyed model and parallel processes. I adapt my approach based on your level of training and experience and preferred learning style. I consider your wellbeing important and will review this through our working relationship because as the saying goes, you can't fill from an empty cup! I keep up to date with new developments through reading and my own continued professional development. I also use various lenses including cultural and neurodiverse optics where contextually relevant I have attended a workshop on the use of self in supervision with Robin Shohut, who is co-creator of the seven-eyed model.
If you are interested, please email with your availability and requirements, for up to date pricing and to arrange a brief chat on zoom to see if we will be a good fit.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
