Supervision details

I offer integrative supervision based on my experience as a HCPC Registered Counselling Psychologist. My primary experience is working in adult mental health, in a University setting, with an NHS staff psychology & counselling service and in private practice over the last 6 years. I have experience of working in a time limited ( up to 6 sessions) and longer term with clients.

I have supervised Trainee Counselling Psychologists, Trainee Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors (Qualified and Trainees) and Assistant Psychologists. I completed supervision training with Newcastle University in 2025.

I am able to offer supervision online and face to face in South Shields. Any questions or for an informal discussion please get in touch.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
