Supervision details
I offer supervision to trainee psychologists and qualified psychologists, trainee psychotherapists and psychotherapists. I can also offer supervision to other mental health professionals, such as art therapists, occupational therapists and nurses. During my work for the NHS supervision was one of my many responsibilities, and I have provided staff supervision groups as well as individual supervision. I can offer supervision to those providing Interpersonal therapy, CBT, Humanistic therapy approaches ( Client centred therapy), Psychodynamic therapy and Integrative therapy. The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
