Supervision details
I offer supervision to psychotherapists, healthcare professionals, creative arts psychotherapists, trainees with an interest in working with an embodied approach.
Supervision is a multi-layered process which can help shape change. Supervision can provide an opportunity to reflect, co-create and reframe information through shifting intersubjective positions between supervisee, client, supervisor and the wider context.
Working physically with movement, can add another layer of reflection and incite especially for creative arts psychotherapists who work with instruments, props and art materials or for verbal therapists who may be curious about their bodies whilst talking.
I run reflective practice group workshops where there is a broader framework, looking at verbal and nonverbal communication with clients, creative ways to support staff within the organisation and wider system. I run reflective practice sessions for individuals as well for personal development.
ADMP UK is the professional organisation for the profession for Dance Movement Psychotherapy in the United Kingdom.
They aim to support the development of DMP in the UK and internationally; foster communication among Dance Movement Psychotherapists (DMPs); and promote the use of DMP throughout the United Kingdom and abroad.
