Supervision details

As a Clinical Supervisor, I offer a supportive and non-judgmental space for counsellors to be able to reflect on, and explore, all aspects of their relationship and work with their clients. I am experienced in providing both individual and group supervision, for counsellors of adults or young people, as well as for counsellors in training.

I have extensive experience supervising counsellors who work with young people of 11 and over, whether in organisations or in private practice. I have worked as a school counsellor myself for more than 10 years and supervise school counsellors, as well as pastoral staff and middle and senior leaders in schools.

I see supervision as being a collaborative process where, as counsellors, we can learn and receive support in a safe space, benefitting our clients as well as ourselves. The foundation for my supervision work is the Seven Eyed Model of Supervision, as the 7 lenses (or eyes) bring light and awareness to so many aspects of what is happening for our clients as well as ourselves.

I also offer Reflective Supervision within organisational settings, and I am dedicated to supporting professionals who are committed to serving their client groups and communities.
Having access to the safe space of Reflective Supervision can help professionals build resilience and avoid burnout, and is a non-judgemental space where they can talk openly about their work without fear of judgement. As well as having benefits for wellbeing, Reflective Supervision can also be a place to access resources and learning, benefitting not only the professional but also their clients. I have extensive experience working in Education and also religious settings, as well as with mental health professionals.

Please do contact me if you'd like to chat and find out more about what I offer and whether I am a good fit for you, I'd be very happy to arrange a phone/video call. Further information about me and what I do can also be found on my website.

I have a Diploma in Supervision (CSTD, Bath), a Certificate in Creative Supervision and a Certificate in Reflective Supervision in Education.
