Supervision details

I am a firm believer that supervision should be a safe place to explore our own feelings, client issues and to develop in both theory, practice and reflection. I have worked for over 15 years in both NHS and private practice and have particular expertise in working with complex cases, including complex trauma, Personality disorders, PTSD and dissociation. I am able to draw on this clinical experience as well as over 10 years experience in offering consultation and supervision to: Psychologists, Counsellors, CBT therapists and other mental health professionals. I have also completed supervision training with the University of Surrey including a PGCert in Supervision I am an EMDR accredited supervisor/ consultant and can support people working towards their EMDR accreditation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
