Supervision details
Hello!
I am Skye, and I am a practicing psychotherapist, psychosexual therapist, mentor, clinical supervisor and a Senior Lecturer. I am an accredited member of COSRT, a full clinical member of UKCP, a registered member of the BACP and a Fellow of the HEA. Alongside private practice, I have worked in Higher Education since 2019, and held senior positions at both BSc and MSc levels, as well as being a visiting lecturer. I have taught on the BACP accredited programmes at The University of Greenwich, The University of Roehampton and University of East London. I am currently a Lead Tutor for a clinical supervision diploma at CICS, Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology. I am dedicated to supporting the development of robust, ethical and quality therapists, and I am able to supervise Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Sex therapists and Relationship therapists. I am a recommended supervisor on a number of clinical programmes. I am able to work with all trainees at the start of clinical training, as well as qualified and practicing colleagues. In addition to my private supervision work I am also the co-founder of The Contained Clinician, a supervision and CPD membership that offers access to specialist supplementary group supervision.
I practice supervision in an integrative way, and value different theoretical perspectives of my supervisees. I utilise a number of different supervisory models, and will consider with you your areas for development and growth, both in terms of your practice, your clinical skills and your business.
I can offer supervision on an on going basis, as a supplementary specialist supervisor alongside your core supervisor, or for a one off consultation regarding specific presentations, such as psychosexual, sexual trauma or relationship issues.
I am currently offering supervision online, for both individuals and groups.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
