Supervision details
Working with people is relational, it brings interpersonal challenges, vulnerabilities, shared experience, intersubjective processes, all of which enrich the supervisory experience and enables growth. I work in a non-judgemental and supportive way, giving you the protected space to explore your work. I see supervision as a holistic process, where we explore all influencing factors on your client work, your processes, where you are in your learning and development and what you need to support your growth. We co-create the space between us, and through a collaborative working alliance, I aim for the supervisory process to be a transformative experience. Supervision sessions can be upto 90 minutes in duration and held in person or via telephone or online platforms.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
