Supervision details
I've managed therapists for a while, in many different settings, and currently work in private practice doing one to one. I used to manage and run therapy clinics in Cambodia, which required running teams of therapists from a very wide range of backgrounds! We had local counsellors with minimal training, and very different viewpoints on the whole psychotherapy profession, sitting alongside people with doctorates. It made for a very vibrant working community, and one that taught me a great deal, and which I also really enjoyed managing. I see supervision as being very similar to counselling. I sit and listen to where you might feel stuck, and then begin to work with you to figure solutions. Feel free to give me a call, and we can talk more.
