I've managed therapists for a while, in many different settings, and currently work in private practice doing one to one. I used to manage and run therapy clinics in Cambodia, which required running teams of therapists from a very wide range of backgrounds! We had local counsellors with minimal training, and very different viewpoints on the whole psychotherapy profession, sitting alongside people with doctorates. It made for a very vibrant working community, and one that taught me a great deal, and which I also really enjoyed managing.

I see supervision as being very similar to counselling. I sit and listen to where you might feel stuck, and then begin to work with you to figure solutions.

Feel free to give me a call, and we can talk more.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
