I practice as a counselling supervisor, offering individual supervision. My approach is Humanistic and Person-Centred.

I have over 18 years counselling experience, working with both adults and young people. I was the Counselling Manager of a youth agency for several years, so I have extensive knowledge and experience of offering counselling to adolescents. I now run and practice within Lemon Grove Counselling & Therapy, an independent Humanistic counselling organisation, founded with a fellow counsellor.

I am passionate about counselling and supervision and resonate strongly with the following quote taken from the book 'Passionate Supervision' by Robin Shohet:

"I am inviting the reader to look at how fear and love might enter the supervisory relationship. Fear can pose sometimes as anxiety, anger, shame, preoccupation with safety, rigid adherence to beliefs, rules and procedures. These are defences that are rarely useful and keep us separated. I believe that fear covers love, a love that is not ephemeral, but the naturally compassionate essence of who we are. Passionate supervision offers a space to bring fear into consciousness and dissolve it so we can enter into a space where loving presence can bring healing for supervisor, supervisee and client."

£35 per hour for individual supervision.

Counselling students: £30 per hour.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
