I am a Counselling Psychologist, Integrative Psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, with over 15 years’ experience of psychotherapeutic work. My approach to supervision is psychodynamic, relational, integrative and anti-oppressive.
I welcome qualified practitioners as well as therapists in training. My experience of teaching on psychotherapy training programmes has given me a particular understanding of the opportunities, challenges and pressures involved in developing as a therapist.
I aim to create a relational and collaborative space in which we can think together about your clinical work with curiosity, courage and care. I am interested not only in understanding the client, but in what happens between you and your client, what the work evokes in you, and what may be taking place within the supervisory relationship itself.
My supervision pays attention to unconscious and relational dynamics alongside the wider social, cultural and intersectional contexts in which psychotherapy takes place. I see these as integral to understanding the work rather than as considerations to be added separately.
I bring my experience and thinking to supervision while remaining curious about yours. At times this may involve questioning assumptions, exploring uncertainty or attending to aspects of the work that are difficult to think about. I see supervision as a place where we can be thoughtful and rigorous without losing sight of the complexity of being a therapist.
I offer individual supervision and also welcome enquiries fromexisting small groups who would like to undertake supervision together.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
