Supervision details
I have a certificate & a clinical diploma in (Gestalt) supervision. My experience of supervision with supervisors of representing different modalities has provided a pluralistic understanding of its potential and function during these last 15 years of professional 'building and investment' It appears to have created a firm foundation for growth and development of my professional identity, interest and direction I have taken. I feel compassionate about the development of our profession. I trust that working and building in professional alliances is the way forward. As a supervisor, I see supervision as a platform for you to establish your unique professional voice, stamp and empowerment. It offers space for reflection and exploration of your professional processes, bringing potential for ongoing learning in client work. I am open to look at it from different perspectives of modalities and holding the recognition of the individual stage you may be in your own professional biography. I see supervision as a 'building project', 'sculpturing' or 'co-creating' it together. I am inviting your questions and core in profession and am willing to learn further together. I feel at this time of great uncertainty in world, we need to find our stance with themes emerging and coming through our meetings with our clients, which may need further exploration & reflection in supervision. I hope to bring components of openness, clarity and capacity to hold these often deep and complex, potentially strengthening, multifaceted professional places you may encounter. I offer a free meeting to discuss this further. I am equally interested in working with counsellors and psychotherapist at different stages in their career.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
