Supervision details
I am a fully qualified supervisor with substantial experience of supervision across a number of different settings . I hold a BPS approved qualification in clinical supervision. I currently supervise a number of fully qualified and accredited psychotherapists. I run a busy private practice. Previously I have worked for a number of voluntary agencies as a psychotherapist working with people who abuse substances and problem gamblers. I have worked for the NHS as a counsellor and psychotherapist. I have much experience of work with individuals, groups and relationship counselling. I also undertake regular peer supervision. As a supervisee I have worked with a number of different styles and modes of practice and undertaken extensive peer and clinical supervision. This has given me a good understanding of the supervision process.I am an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, a full member of the British Psychological Society and a fully qualified life coach. I see supervision as a process of facilitation, support and accountability and I am very keen to promote good practice through education, empathy and pragmatism. If this interests you please do get in touch. If you want to learn more about me see my counselling directory profile.
