Supervisor Linda Johnson CPsychol, AFBPsS, Individuals and Couples
I chartered as a counselling psychologist in 2008. I have worked with many individuals and couples since then. I have a particular interest in working with survivors of sexual abuse and trauma.
I supervised several groups for Yellow Door, a charity offering support and counselling to survivors of sexual abuse, between 2017 and 2018. This stopped because Yellow Door lost the funding for the Isle of Wight.
I have completed Part 1 of the certificate in supervision from Re:Vision (see http://www.re-vision.org.uk/supervision-training/ for details of the way in which I have studied). I complete the study element of Part 2 for the diploma on 7 June 2019.
In order to complete the diploma, I need to supervise a certain number of hours and write an anonymised case study. I will be offering concessions to supervisees until I have completed my hours. If any of you would like to form a group for supervision (up to 4 of you for 2 hours), this could be possible too.
I can offer supervision in Newport or Freshwater, and could also offer online or telephone supervision.
My supervision style is warm and supportive. I hope to hear from you.
