Supervision details

I am a qualified and experienced supervisor providing online supervision, using the Zoom platform, to therapists practicing Person-Centred therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and integrative approaches. I have experience in supervising individuals, groups and delivering supervision training to qualified therapists. My supervision practice is underpinned by theoretical supervision models, and I encourage a collaborative approach to supervision, to agree which supervision models may suit your supervision needs. Supervision is contracted to meet your professional body supervision requirements to uphold safe and ethical practices.

I offer a first free introduction call to discuss your supervision needs and I welcome all enquiries from individuals, groups and services requiring supervision. I welcome enquiries from trainee counsellors and trainee CBT Therapists, seeking additional subject tuition in their professional development, in understanding and applying theory to practice.

BABCP
British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
