Supervision details
My supervision practice is informed by my therapeutic framework, drawing on trauma and attachment theory, somatic practice and the value of cognitive and psychoeducational work. I believe in supportive analytical challenge, helping you to deepen your own understanding and self awareness.
I draw on my experience as a supervisor within the NHS and national charities to support those working both in private practice and organisations, including local government and NHS settings. Workplace dynamics and politics can add complexities to already challenging roles, and supervision can be a safe place for you to explore this.
If you are just starting out in private practice, or struggling with a quiet period I can help you think about what your business needs, and how to go about building it. From step by step practical advice on setting up, to freeing your creative side, and understanding whether your practice feels congruent and sustainable, I can help you.
I offer supervision for numerous professions within mental health, including: counsellors, psychotherapists, coaches, occupational therapists, social workers, physical therapists, team leaders and managers and those in support and care roles who find they need a supportive space. I also offer clinical supervision and coaching for those in the holistic therapeutic sectors who regularly hold emotional space for their clients including physiotherapists, massage therapist, homeopaths, naturopaths and yoga teachers.
I have both Foundation and Bachelor's (hons) Degrees in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Master's Degree in Trauma Studies, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
