Supervision details
Hello!
I would like to tell you a little bit about my supervision practice which has evolved over the years of practice.
I am passionate about supervision and the role it plays in supporting us as practitioners to reflect, self-care and ultimately give the best to our clients.
My initial training is integrative and leans towards a humanistic approach, drawing on PCT, CBT and solution-focused approaches too! Not forgetting the play based approach for the younger clients.
I am familiar with a wide range of modalities and if required I will do my due diligence and do some learning if I am not familiar and work with that.
As a supervisor, I strive to offer a safe and robust space to learn, develop and grow, off course part of that process involves challenge ! and that is part challenge is to check in and check out on the blind spots and comfort zones.
In supervision practice, I work with both the seven eyed and Inskipp and Proctor framework which gives us the chance to look at the complexity of the relationships directly in supervision and beyond.
I am experienced in working with trainees and qualified partitioners of all levels both in individual and group settings.
I have worked privately and within agency settings, providing supervision for a wide range of presenting issues.
I also hold a wealth of experience within the CYP world and have gained additional qualifications to consolidate that and can provide supervision for CYP practitioners also.
I would invite you to be curious and give me a call or mail if you have any queries or want to book a free initial chat to discuss your supervision requirements.
Take Care, Paula

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
