About me
I am Consultant Psychological Therapist specialising in online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I have over 24 years expericne of wroking in the NHS and I am a registered Mental Health Nurse. I am based in North Yorkshire and can provide remote online therapy all over the world.

Over the last decade, I have worked in the NHS in the Early Intervention in Psychosis and recovery and rehabilitation services as a Nurse Consultant specialising in psychological assessment, consultation, CBT therapy, and facilitating peer support groups for young people and adults. I have contributed to National research trials as a therapist, publications and the development of clinical care pathways with leading experts in the field of trauma, psychosis and CBT.

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I am able to offer flexible sessions (weekends/evenings) depending on individual preferences or evenings for after school.
Sessions are normally 50/60 minutes using Microsoft teams or Skype.
