About me

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or stress, facing relationship challenges, struggling with school or exam pressures, or simply longing for greater ease in your life, counselling can offer a way forward. I provide counselling for adults and young people aged 12 and over in Richmond and online, alongside specialist courses designed to support emotional wellbeing and resilience. However you choose to begin, this is your space — and we’ll work together in a way that feels right for you.

My approach is person-centred at its heart, meaning that we work collaboratively, at your pace, and in a way that feels right for you. Where helpful, I integrate practical tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to support you in managing unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour. Throughout, the focus is on helping you make sense of your experiences, building emotional resilience, and unfolding the inner strengths you already have.

Counselling for Young People (12+)
Young people today face a complex and often overwhelming world, and counselling can offer a safe, confidential space to navigate it. I support young people, including those going through secondary, further or higher education, who are dealing with school and exam stress, social and peer pressure, identity and self-esteem issues, family changes, and the impact of social media on their mental health. Some young people may be experiencing low mood, anxiety, or simply a sense of not fitting in.

Sessions are flexible and creative, allowing young people to express themselves not only through conversation but, if they wish, through drawing or other forms of expression. I work closely with the young person to build trust and openness, and where appropriate, I maintain a collaborative relationship with parents, while always respecting the young person's confidentiality and autonomy.

If my approach resonates with you then contact me today for a free consultation with no obligation on either side. During 15 minutes of online/phone call we can talk about the problems you are facing and your reasons for seeking treatment.  I will explain to you how the therapy process works and answer any questions you may have. If you feel we’re a good fit you can book your first session.

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
