About me
Hello, I’m Trojan, an Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor with over ten years of experience supporting individuals through life’s emotional challenges. I offer a warm, non-judgemental, and confidential space for adults and young people to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace.
My approach is person-centred at its core, rooted in empathy, authenticity, and respect. I integrate a range of therapeutic models : including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches to ensure our work is flexible and responsive to your unique needs and goals.
An Inclusive and Human Approach
For some men, the idea of reaching out for help can feel overwhelming or even impossible. I understand this not only as a therapist, but as someone who grew up in a diverse community where strength often meant silence. That experience shaped my deep commitment to equality, inclusion, and creating spaces where every identity is welcomed and respected.
I have a particular interest in supporting men who may feel hesitant to open up, as well as clients from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) and LGBTQ+ communities. In every session, I aim to bring my authentic self, meeting you with openness, compassion, and realness in a world that often demands we hide parts of who we are.
Areas I Can Support You With:
Anxiety and stress
Low mood and depression
Confidence and self-esteem
Anger and emotional regulation
Relationship and family challenges
Identity, loneliness, and belonging
Men’s mental health
Life changes and uncertainty, whether you're navigating grief, trauma, burnout, or questions about identity and direction, our work together will be guided by your needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach. I’ll walk alongside you, helping you reflect, reconnect, and move forward on your own terms.
Our Work Together
Therapy with me isn’t about pushing or fixing, it’s about meeting you where you are, offering a space that feels safe, genuine, and empowering. We’ll explore not just what’s difficult, but also the resilience and wisdom already within you.
Life can be complex, painful, and uncertain, but within these moments often lie the seeds of growth and transformation. My hope is that through our work together, you’ll feel heard, respected, and reconnected to a sense of purpose and possibility.
If you’re ready to begin or even just thinking about it, I’d be happy to hear from you. I aim to reply to all enquiries within 24 hours.
Training, qualifications & experience
My qualifications are CPCAB Level 2,3 Certificate in therapeutic counselling and Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
Plus I have an enhanced DBS clearance.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
