About me
I’m a London based psychotherapist with a focus on supporting individuals in senior, high-responsibility, high pressure, and leadership roles.
My professional training in mental health, counselling and psychotherapy, combined with my background in the Armed Forces and years of experience in corporate and high-stress environments, including financial services and information technology, has given me a deep, practical understanding of the pressures faced by those in senior and high-responsibility positions.
I work only with adults, and offer one-to-one, online, private counselling tailored to the complex pressures of high-responsibility lives. Face-to-face sessions can be arranged at your home or workplace by prior arrangement.
Drawing on both psychodynamic and humanistic approaches, I provide a confidential, client-centred space where we can explore what’s going on beneath the surface, helping you navigate both immediate concerns and the deeper emotional patterns that may be shaping them.
My style is curious, open to possibility, exploratory, and non-judgmental. My role as a psychotherapist is one I take very seriously, and I am committed to every person I work with, whose willingness to enter into and continue therapy I hold in high regard and respect.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Many studies show that the relationship between therapist and client plays a major role in successful symptom reduction. In other words, when a therapist and client build a strong working alliance, outcomes tend to be better, so choosing the right counsellor for you may matter more than you realise.
My counselling approach is integrative psychodynamic, drawing on psychodynamic and humanistic theory to help clients explore emotional patterns, personal challenges, and relational dynamics in a safe and confidential space.
I bring to my practice a deep understanding of high-stress environments, built on my own background in the Armed Forces and my work within corporate settings, including financial services and information technology. This combination of professional training and lived experience enables me to support clients with issues such as stress, anxiety, identity, performance, and leadership strain. I have worked with both men and women navigating the demands of high-pressure roles, helping them find clarity, resilience, and a sense of balance.
Outside of private practice, I still support Armed Forces veterans today in my role as an Hon Counselling Psychologist with NHS OpCourage, the specialist mental health service explicitly commissioned for the unique psychological needs of veterans.
Beyond the therapy room, I have played a key role in shaping national mental health initiatives and serve on the NHS Mental Health Expert Advisory Group for the Armed Forces, as well as the King’s College London Armed Forces Mental Health Research Advisory Group. I’m also a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Quality Network for Veterans’ Mental Health Services, promoting innovation and best practice across national and third sector health services.
As a long-standing advocate for mental health education, both in the UK and internationally, I have been invited to appear on Sky News several times to speak on the issues faced by those who operate in high-stress environments.
As a counselling professional, I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for counselling and psychotherapy and the BPS Member Conduct Rules. I am committed to ethical, reflective, and client-centred practice.
