About me
I am a chartered Clinical Psychologist (CPsychol), registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
I completed my Clinical Psychology training at UCL (University College London) and have eight years' experience working in the NHS and local authority settings in adult and child mental health, including: teams for fostered and adopted children, child and adolescent mental health services, adult community mental health teams, occupational health services, and trauma services.
My goal is to create a safe, non-judgemental and nurturing environment where you or your family can get to where you want to be.
I am experienced in assessing, formulating and treating a variety of psychological, behavioural and relationship difficulties, big and small.

Tanya is experienced in assessing, formulating and treating a variety of difficulties including anxiety and depression in a non-judgemental, safe and accepting environment. Using a range of theoretical approaches, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Systemic Therapy, Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT), and Attachment based therapies.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

Health and Care Professions Council
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
