About me
I am an integrative counsellor offering a warm, reflective, and confidential space for adults experiencing emotional difficulties, life transitions, or a sense of feeling stuck.
People often come to counselling when they are navigating changes in identity, experiencing loss or grief, feeling anxious, or noticing patterns in relationships that feel difficult to understand or change. I work at your pace, offering a non-judgemental and supportive environment where you can pause, reflect, and make sense of what is happening for you. Many clients tell me they value having space to slow things down, feel heard, and think more clearly about themselves and their choices.
My approach is integrative and humanistic, drawing on person-centred counselling, transactional analysis, and Gestalt. I pay close attention to how we work together, creating a safe and trusting relationship where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly. We may also look at patterns in relationships and how earlier experiences continue to shape your present life. I believe individuals have the capacity for growth and change, and my role is not to give advice, but to support you in developing greater understanding, choice, and self-trust.
Alongside my counselling work, I also have a background in coaching. Where appropriate, and with clear agreement, I may draw on coaching approaches within counselling to support focus, clarity, and movement forward. I also offer coaching as a separate service for those seeking structured, future-focused support.
If you would like to explore whether counselling or coaching feels right for you, I welcome you to get in touch.
Training, qualifications & experience
- CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (BACP accredited course)
- EMCC level 7 Senior Accredited coach (working towards)
- BA (Hons) Psychology and Management studies
I work in private practice and have experience working in both private and third-sector settings. My training and experience include bereavement counselling with Myton Hospice in Warwick and Campden Home Nursing, and work as a counsellor for a national charity supporting adults and young people whose lives have been impacted by domestic abuse. My work is trauma-informed and grounded in safe, ethical practice.
The issues I work with include loss and bereavement, life stage transitions, anxiety, stress, low mood, self-esteem, attachment-related difficulties, relationship and family issues, and the impact of trauma. You may not always have a clear reason for coming to counselling and may simply feel that something is not quite right or that you are at a crossroads. Counselling can offer space to explore what is happening for you, what may be holding you back, and what change might look like.
Alongside my counselling training, I also have training in coaching. I am a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and am currently working towards EMCC Senior Practitioner accreditation.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) (Register No. 395794). I am fully insured and committed to ongoing professional development and regular supervision to support my clients in the best way possible.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer a free initial chat, either on the phone or face to face, to give you the opportunity to briefly explain why you are seeking counselling and for you to ask any questions you may have. I fully appreciate that coming to counselling can feel very unfamiliar and daunting so it is important that you feel comfortable and you can connect with your counsellor.
