About me

Hello....I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist fully accredited with the BABCP and EMDR practitioner. Throughout my clinical practice which spans over 14 years,  I have developed a solid grounding in working with individuals with a broad range of presenting difficulties. This has includes children and adolescents aged between 15 to 18 and adults from 18 upwards, including those over 65.

I have advanced specialist knowledge of CBT. This has included working with problems such as low self-esteem, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD), OCD, Generalised anxiety, Panic Disorder, Social anxiety, Body Dysmorphia, Health anxiety, Trichotillomania, weight problems, childhood trauma, psychosis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and other long term health conditions.

I have a special interest in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which I am able to treat effectively using Trauma Focused CBT as well EMDR.

I offer treatments face to face and via Skype.

British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK.

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists.

BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
