Life can be hard at times. This can sometimes be the result of past experiences as well as the general pressures of everyday life. It can be helpful to have someone who will not judge you and whom you can trust, someone to talk to and explore your issues with. Counselling is a process where we will explore your issues together in a caring and confidential environment. The aim is for you to gain a greater degree of understanding about yourself and your issues and for you to find the resources you need to see the changes you are seeking to achieve.
I am an integrative counsellor with a relational style. This means I seek to build a good therapeutic relationship between client and counsellor in order for us to work together to explore your personal journey so far, and how you might be empowered to face the future.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a trained, registered counsellor with a BA (Hons) Degree in Theology and Counselling. (Level 6) In addition to my training, I have many years’ experience of working and living in another culture. This has also provided me with a greater understanding of myself and others.
I offer one hour sessions on a weekly basis, usually at the same time and on the same day. We would aim to review our work together periodically to see how many sessions are needed.
I offer a free initial consultation to explore your reasons for seeking counselling as well as to provide the opportunity for us to see if counselling is right for you at this time.
