About me
I am Stella, a qualified and experienced counsellor, accredited with the National Counselling Society. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I work with a variety of life's problems, and I specialise in working with those whose lives have been affected by baby loss and miscarriage.
People choose counselling for many reasons; a feeling of sadness, sometimes for loss or major change in their lives. I will help you explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe way, without judgement. I work in a warm and empathic way and you will be treated with dignity and respect.
Taking the first steps can feel really difficult but I will do my utmost to make you feel as comfortable as possible, this is a time for you to hit the pause button and focus just on you. Counselling is unique to each individual and their needs. It can offer clarity, comfort, a boost to move in a different direction. Counselling can give you a deeper insight into yourself so that you can start to envisage positive and realistic change. Sessions give you an opportunity to take the time to think about what is going on in your life without being judged or advised. I offer an initial free consultation lasting around half an hour so you can ask questions and we can get to know each other a little. There is no obligation for you to go further.
I offer short and long term counselling in a relaxed and comfortable space and Zoom or Skype sessions to suit you.
