About me
Do you have constant feelings of anxiety and anxiousness and worry about many different things? Or you find yourself struggling to fit in, feel low or depressed? If you are someone who is generally misunderstood no matter how hard you try and may have other struggles you would like to explore and work on to make life easier then we can explore possible reasons for these feelings and also develop strategies and ways to overcome the difficulties you are encountering.
With nearly 20 years' experience I am able to offer therapeutic intervention, coaching and mentoring with each of the sessions aiming to incorporate different therapeutic interventions including Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).
The most important aspect of the sessions is that I work in a way that is unique to you. It is also important that in each session you feel heard without the fear of being judged and what we work on will remain confidential.
I also work with neurodivergent adults and teenagers (whether formally diagnosed as autistic / ADHD or those who self-identify as autistic / ADHD with no formal diagnosis). If you are struggling with your assessment outcome or need support to overcome the anxiety of an upcoming assessment then please get in touch. I have experience supporting people right at the beginning of their assessment journey helping to develop an understanding of neurodivergence helping individuals to navigate the diagnostic pathway (and diagnostic criteria) and to help them make the decision whether to have an assessment or not. If you are struggling with your assessment outcome or have been diagnosed for years and need to explore difficulties and struggles, get in touch.
I work with parents, carers and loved ones who are struggling with loving and / or living with someone who is neurodivergent.
I am able to adapt how we work together by including camera off sessions or even home visits if your anxiety makes travelling difficult. Make contact and we can explore the all options.
If you're in the process of looking for a therapist and have lots of questions about how the "process" works, you are more than welcome to book a free introductory call where I will happily answer your questions and see if we could work together with absolutely no pressure to start.
I currently only have a very limited number of evening on-line slots available. Please ask about the waiting list.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
